DazedDigital previews issue 9 of AnOther Man out on October 1, which features Robert Pattinson on the cover, shot by Hedi Slimane and styled by Nicola Formichetti. Dave Calhoun speak to the 23-year-old Twilight star about the pressures of fame and the craft of acting: “It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

Was Pattinson aware of the loyalty of fans of the Twilight books? It looks like the sort of obsessive fandom that can turn into anger and even hatred when an adaptation isn’t to their liking. Did he know what he was letting himself in for? “It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London. I tried a couple of bookshops and they weren’t available. Hardly anyone I knew had read them apart from one girl, a friend of my sister. I had no idea at all. I’d seen Kristen Stewart in Into the Wild and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

His manner is very laid back. He doesn’t sound thrusting or ambitious, more like he’s just going with the flow and enjoying things. Is he going to harness his newfound fame and box-office appeal to approach the kind of filmmakers he wants to work with in the future? He’s not so sure. “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do.” But he knows what he doesn’t need. “I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”

Brining Steinbeck back to life, Stewart has made it cool to read again and that deserves major props!
4. Dedicated. Stewart is dedicated to her craft and it is amazing to see her throw herself into the characters she portrays on the big screen. Not only did she bring the beloved Bella Swan to life, this past summer she brought back the love for 80′s while portraying Joan Jett in The Runaways. Her work is flawless and that is because she spends hours preparing and dedicating time to her craft.
5. Bella Swan. Let’s be honest, we love Kristen Stewart because she simply is the best version of Bella Swan that we could imagine. Bringing Bella to life was a daunting task, but Stewart did it with grace, passion, and perfection.

Sites are picking up a sizzling In Touch magazine claim that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will “go public with their clandestine romance in a revealing interview” in this December’s edition of Harper’s Bazaar. “Insiders” tell the tabloid that the “tell-all interview” will confirm months of speculation that the co-stars are a real-life couple.

An employee for Harper’s who “accompanied the couple” to a photoshoot last month supposedly says, “Rob and Kristen were relatively open about their relationship.”

Here’s what Gossip Cop can confirm – the stars DID shoot, in Vancouver, a big feature story that as of now is slated for the magazine’s December cover.

But a source close to the production tells Gossip Cop exclusively that Pattinson and Stewart “do NOT” discuss whether or not they’re a couple.

When Meyers was asked, “So the powers that be at SNL would be into Rob hosting?” he responded “Yes, absolutely.”

Well, not long after that the Internet was ablaze with talk that Pattinson may host SNL, and Gossip Cop was e-mailed and Tweeted by hundreds of fans wanting to know the truth – the whole Truth and not just E!’s The Awful Truth.

Here’s what we got: A source close to the show tells Gossip Cop, “He is not currently booked for the season.” But the insider, echoing the castmembers, adds, “the show would love to have him on at any time.” Now brace yourself fans: The source basically said Pattinson was offered an SNL hosting gig, but “apparently there were scheduling conflicts.”
